Collection And Use of Face Data
Our app offers a Face Tracking feature that uses Apple's TrueDepth API to enable users with motor limitations to type text using head movements. This feature is on by default and the user can disable it in the app's Settings.
When Face Tracking is enabled, the app collects the following information:
- Head Tracking Mode: The angle of the head is collected to move a virtual cursor based on the user's head movements.
- Blink Selection: Data on whether the eyes are closed is collected to provide a virtual tap event when the user blinks.
- Mouth Open Selection: Data on whether the mouth is opened is collected to provide a virtual tap event when the user opens their mouth.
This face data is used solely for the purpose of enabling users with motor limitations to interact with the app using head movements. The data is processed in real-time on the user's device and is not sent to our servers, stored, or retained in any way. We do not share this data with any third parties.
